For educators to track every student's progress
Practy gives teachers a clear view of language practice: create a class, invite students with a code, and see who is practicing, how often, and where they need help.
How it works
Three steps from sign-up to a live view of your whole class.
- 1
Create a class
Sign up and choose "I'm a teacher" during onboarding. Create a class like "Spanish: Period 3".
- 2
Students join with a code
Each class gets a unique 6-character join code. Share it once; students create their own account and enter the code to link their account. No rosters to import, no per-student passwords to manage.
- 3
Track their progress
Open your classroom dashboard to see the whole roster at a glance. Track who's practicing, how often, and how accurately as well as detailed breakdowns for each student.
Go further with Practy Classroom Plus
An optional paid plan that shows exactly where each student needs help, and gives your class additional features to help learn and retain more.
Detailed student analytics
Open any student's page to see their recent answers, what they got right and wrong, and how they're improving over time.
Spaced repetition
Smart review scheduling resurfaces each student's weak spots at the right moment, so they retain the words and verbs they practice better.
Extra verbs
Unlock the full verb library so your students can practice beyond the free set, across every supported language.
Questions teachers ask
How much does it cost for teachers?
Creating a teacher account, making classes, and tracking your students' progress is free. Classroom Plus is an optional paid plan that adds detailed per-student analytics and lets you sponsor premium features for your students; it's billed per seat and managed on the web.
How do students join my class?
Every class has a unique 6-character join code. Share it with your students once and they enter it in the app to link their account to your class. You can regenerate the code at any time if it gets shared outside your class.
Do I have to keep the class roster up to date?
No. The roster is automatically updated when a student joins with your code. One table shows every linked student with their last-practiced date, total sessions, and accuracy.
What can I see about each student?
You see their language-practice progress: total attempts, accuracy, sessions completed, last-practiced dates, and their recent attempts. You cannot see anything outside their exercise progress — no saved vocab, media history, email content, or billing details.
Do I have to grade answers or prepare materials?
No. Practy checks student answers in real time, so there are no worksheets to write and no stack of papers to mark. You can assign it as homework, a warm-up or in-class practice.
Do students need to pay?
No. Students can use Practy for free, and on Classroom Plus you can sponsor premium features for the students you choose so they get the full experience at no cost to them.
